Here at Barker Street Pet Services, we only use up to date and science led training methods, which means kind, reward based training. We believe in a future where dog trainers don't have to advertise that they're force free, because it should just be a given... But until then we are totally and completely force free with a focus on reward based training that really works.
We offer both 1-2-1 training (perfect for nervous dogs) or class environments (for dogs that are happy in the presence of other dogs and humans).

1-2-1 Dog Training
- Providing bespoke, personable training for you and your dog.
-Can take place at your home or out in the big wide world, helping you reach your training goals in a way that works best for you.
- £45 for a one hour training session, a bespoke training plan being created and full support whenever you need it.
- Behaviour modification also available for more complex behavioural issues, (specialising in Canine Reactivity) with the help of our fully qualified Canine Behaviour Advisor, Vikki.

Puppy Training Classes
- Regular puppy training classes for puppies aged 12 weeks to 5 months.
- Four week, indoor course, 1hr sessions.
- You will learn; habituation, correct socialisation, loose lead walking, recall, stay/wait, drop it/leave it, co-operative handling and much more.
- £85 for the full course.

Adolescent Dog Training Classes
- Regular adolescent dog training classes for dogs aged 6 months to 2 years.
- Four week, indoor course, 1hr sessions.
- You will learn; loose lead walking, recall, impulse control, polite greetings, stay/wait, drop it/leave it, jumping up and much more. - £105 for the full course.

Real Life Ready
- A follow on course from our Adolescent Classes (dogs with previous professional training also welcome)
- Three week, outdoor course, 1.5hr sessions.
- You will learn; loose lead walking and reliable recall with distractions, place training, staying calm around livestock, traffic and pavement manners.
- £105 for the full course.

Canines In The Community
- Fun, laid back trainer-led walks.
- Meet like-minded dog owners and their dogs within our local community.
- Held on a semi-regular basis,
- Socialise in a fun and controlled environment.
-Perfect for meeting new people, confidence building and learning how to correctly socialise your dog.
£5 per dog.

- Offering training support from afar.
- A bespoke training plan, one hour phone consultation and never-ending support is included.
