Dog Training & Behaviour by
BARKER STREET PET SERVICES™
"We Love Your Pets Like You Do"
Here at Barker Street Pet Services, we ensure a healthy, happy relationship between you and your canine companion by the use of force free, science led dog training and behaviour support. We offer dog training in the form of 1-2-1 sessions, group classes and behaviour modification, all by using science backed and reward based training methods to ensure we strengthen the bond between dog and guardian, teach your dog what we need from them and, therefore, create results that actually last. Although we can help with any training or behaviour enquiry, we specialise in reactivity.
Our Canine Behaviour Advisor, Vikki, is fully qualified, experienced and educated in canine behaviour, as well as being a veterinary nurse, so you can trust that your dog is in the absolute best hands. Vikki has spent 25+ years working with dogs and 8 years studying canine behaviour at university; her highest qualification being a BSc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour Management.
Our fully qualified and experienced Dog Trainer, Jamie, has a Canine Training Instructor certification with the Professional Association of Canine Trainers. In addition to this, Jamie also has a wealth of hands-on experience working within a dog rescue centre, where he has found a natural ability to help dogs with even the most challenging of behaviours.

Only a behaviourist is qualified and experienced enough to work with these issues and our Canine Behaviour Advisor will establish your dog's needs, develop a tailored behaviour modification plan and guide you through the whole process. We will help bring your dog back to their best self by, essentially, changing the way that they think about a situation and therefore changing your dog's behaviour from the source of their worries. Our behaviour consultations include expert and tailored advice, a written behaviour modification plan and ongoing support whenever you need it. Remember, with every enquiry you are learning from the knowledge, experience and (many) years of dog behaviour studies that our fully qualified and accomplished canine Behaviour Advisor has. So the aim is to only see you once! Although we can help with any kind of training and behaviour, we specialise in canine reactivity.
